Word count: 5136. I sit 11 days until the end of the month. I'm a hair past the 1/10th mark. I know I should be just past 25000 to be "on track." Oh well. I'm happy with the small progress. This thing is a jump-start on more to come. If I'm this far by month's end, it's more than I had at the beginning.
Writing is taking one step at a time.

Nice work. Keep it up. If there's ever a bloggers strike, look at all the material that you can use to keep your readers entertained.
James Taylor was on the Today show today. I thought of you. I am pretty sure you were glued to the TV, watching it.

I can't wait to read your book. I'm a fabulous editor, by the way.
Rock on, brother! Keep doing what you are doing! I can't imagine writing a book--it has been hard enough to try to write a blog every day with a job and family. And my drug addiction.
Honestly, it's not gotten much further since I posted this last! Between Starbucks during holiday time and the actual holidays (seeing family, being away from the word processor), it's quite the challenge to write a book. However, this IS a start. I will most definitely have to keep writing after the new year!
So, drug addiction?? It seems this is a hook to go check out YOUR blog! Here I go...
25,000 words?! Sean, my man, that's a short story. That'll fill maybe 100 pages in a book ... i know it might seem like some cold water, but shoot for 60-80K range!
